Did your MP vote against the snooping bill?

After the European Court of Justice decided that the ability to store details of the private communications of EU citizens for up to two years was invalid the Blue, Red and Yellow Tories started to cut deals behind closed doors in order to rush through their new 'snooping bill'.

The Data Retention and Investigatory Powers Bill (DRIP) debate was attended by a handful of MPs which should get the alarm bells ringing. You also don't have to follow politics to realise that any new bill should take longer than two days from when it is first announced and when 416 unionist MPs vote to pass the bill.

Thanks to our friends over at Daily Wales who've tasked themselves with going through the list of MPs who voted against the bill and those who thought it was in the best interest of the British State to railroad it through I can bring you the above map and it's the same old same old once again. The three Plaid Cymru MPs are standing up for the rights of the people of Wales and the 37 British Nationalist MPs are dancing to their masters tune.

In the interest of fairness I should point out that Ann Clwyd (Cynon Valley / Red Tory), Peter Hain (Neath / Red Tory) and Roger Williams (Brecon / Yellow Tory) couldn't even be bothered to turn up to their place of work to register a vote. Perhaps they could have asked their pals in the Blue Tories for a lift since they all managed to turn up.
